JON CORBETT
Jon was named Chief Financial Officer of Schooner in 2024, after serving as VP Finance since 2018 and, prior to this, Controller since 2011. As CFO, Jon is responsible for managing the accounting and finance operations of Schooner as well as monitoring tax compliance. Jon supports Schooner’s public equities efforts while working closely with a number of Schooner’s private portfolio companies. He also serves as Treasurer of The Schooner Foundation. Prior to joining Schooner, Jon spent over 10 years in public accounting at Tonneson + Co where he worked with a diverse group of privately-held companies and not-for-profit organizations. Jon has an undergraduate business degree with a concentration in accounting from Merrimack College and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University’s Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business. Jon is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
