STEVE MAIOCCO
Steve served as Schooner’s Chief Financial Officer from 1996 through 2023 and remained a Managing Partner until he retired at the end of 2025; he now serves as a Senior Advisor to Schooner. During his 30 years at Schooner, Steve focused on internal administrative matters and Schooner’s investment portfolio, including serving as a board member on several portfolio companies including at SRS Medical for thirteen years and Millstone Medical Outsourcing for seventeen years. Prior to joining Schooner, Steve spent fourteen years in public accounting at Tonneson & Company CPAs P.C. where he worked with his clients on a wide range of accounting, financial and tax matters. Steve has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Master’s of Science in Taxation degree from Bentley University. He was also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant for over forty years.
